Chassis
Physically small, the KTM uses a chrome-moly steel trellis frame with quality, fully adjustable WP suspension and beautifully finished components. There’s nothing that isn’t essential, keeping weight down. With race rep geometry the handling is quick and nimble. Brembo four-pot brakes are as sharp as any radial callipers we’ve tried.Engine
KTM’s own dry-sump V-twin is a brilliant creation, matching the power and torque of a similar Ducati or Aprilia, and with a huge midrange urgency delivered with the slightest touch of the oh-so-light throttle.
